Science Dily needs to check for accuracy. Wonder if Obozo paid for that story?

This could be something that turns out to be very helpful in pushing natural gas to the forefront of the clean energy race.

what do you expect from the ScienceDaily ??..they wanna print gloom and doom-it's called smoke and mirrors..
there are untapped oil fields now, with enough gas for generations not yet born, and more untapped fields will be found in the united states alone, once the sheeple's king is gone, and we can go after it..

Use waste products to generate energy whenever you can with a net gain. Be careful they aren't consuming more energy in the process of making energy than they generate.

ScienceDaily needs to rethink thier science. We have more oil than we can possibly use, or our children, grand children and great grand children. Give the "we're about to run out of oil" lie a rest. This has been disproven over and over which should lead people to wonder about the accuracy or sincerity of the source.

This makes methane more efficient and produces more energy per unit volume.

Quit raising cattle and you'll cut down the free methane in the air.

No hint of the costs or other by-products that would be associated with the construction of these nano-particle catalysts. Could be the door to something big, or it could be the doorway to a walk off a cliff.

A step in the right direction? Or will it drive the cost of car up by a thousand dollars??
Will the EPA force homeowners to retrofit their furnaces??

I still think we should be careful before burning most of it when other fuels can be used. There are too many other uses where it is the ideal fuel and not easily replaced - like for heating homes and making glass.

Wow! Sounds very promising -- I hope it lives up to the initial results (and is commercially feasible).
It's also an object lesson in why you don't want to force feed winners in advance. It sounds as though this could be better than some of the other green energy technologies that are in fashion right now.

The first sentence says it all. Cheap gas is gone forever and all we have left is the dwindle stuff, which is more difficult and expensive to get to, i.e. gasoline will not be produced cheaper and cleaner, at no cost to the consumer. Some call it progress. The only unanswered question is how much is too much?

This appears to a better green energy then other more popular choices. This actually recycles something.
