Of course it will change. A company sees another selling below price of everyone else. What the company buying thinks is, we jack up the price to everyone else's price and reap huge profits.

Good luck to Tesoro. I hope they can turn around an ailing and neglected ARCO infrastructure.

The only change will be what company reaps the profits. No change to consumers.

Hopefully the company, Tesoro, will become California's tesoro (Spanish for treasure).

With these type of sales and mergers the price of gas is going even higher! The rich get richer and the middle class gets poorer! Gas prices will be going up even higher!!!

Well there go the competitive gas prices at Arco stations. This does not bode well for consumers.

As a corporation it most likely done out of greed for more money, meaning they have a plan to take more money off us retail with price gouging manipulation.

Keep your tanks and gas-cans full! For the next 4 or 5 weeks, most of the country may be facing higher prices and shortages of gasoline. May get fugly. Be smart!

Tesoro had a dirty, weed grown, in disrepair and overpriced gas station and eventually closed it – no business. ARCO bought it about 2 years later, improved the site tremendously and it looks much much better. Will there be a Tesoro gas station at that location again? It will be good to see BP go away but maybe BP knows something we don't! Keep the price of fuel at the pump low but that will Not happen. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!
